The Belle of Amherst Comes to the Mesquite Arts Theatre

A One-Woman Show for the Ages

Join us for the next installment in our 2021 Mesquite Community Theatre season, “The Belle of Amherst.”

In her Amherst, Massachusetts home the reclusive 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson, recollects her past through her work, her diaries and letters, and a few encounters with significant people in her life. Williams Luce’s classic play shows us both the pain and the joy of Dickinson’s secluded life.

This one-woman show will only go from April 9th to the 25th in the Black Box at the Mesquite Arts Center, so be sure to get your tickets today. Please note that masks and social distancing will be in effect.

You can purchase your tickets here. After the show, consider grabbing a bite to eat at several of our amazing restaurants. Or you can also check out some of the other awesome events that we have planned for April like Air Supply, or the Devil's Bowl Speedway.
