At MESQUITE TRI-EAST NAACP We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society.Our mission in Mesquite, Balch Springs and Sunnyvale: We aim to be a premier creditable voice in race relations and in government dealings in all 3 cities. We will advocate for fairness in judicial settings, seek diversity, seek contracts for minorities, help DACA recipients, seek summer jobs for our children with at least 3 weeks of job readiness training. We condemn all forms of police misconduct and racial profiling of Black men. We will challenge MISD on hiring and promotions of qualified Black educators in school district. I'm sure there are a few oversights but we will be as diplomatic as possible but history has taught us that direct action serves us best.
