Free cocoa and cookies served while supplies last
Santa on-site to visit with the kids
Various live entertainment
The gift market opens with booths presented by Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market vendors

TREE-LIGHTING CEREMONY 6 P.M.

Mayor Dan Aleman opens the tree-lighting ceremony
“12 Days of Downtown Mesquite” sung by the audience, prompted with placards displayed on stage
City Council and MISD student representatives gather on stage to hit the button that lights the Christmas tree for the first time in the season
Ceremony concludes
Live music continues until 8 p.m.
Free Downtown Mesquite ornaments will be distributed while supplies last
