Mesquite Arena

The tradition begins again. After being inactive for the past two seasons, the Mesquite Outlaws return for the 2022-23 season. 12 home games will be played at the Mesquite Arena. A unique Arena, as there is no other Arena like this in the MASL League.

The Dallas Outlaws arena league's inaugural season begins on Friday, January 27th at the Mesquite Arena. The league is comprised of 4 teams, all games will be played at the Mesquite Arena.

Constructed in 1985, the iconic Mesquite Arena is home to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo, Mesquite Outlaws, and Dallas Outlaws. The arena has recently undergone a $2 million renovation to bring in features such as a jumbotron, upgraded VIP suites, removable turf surface for arena soccer games and professional locker rooms.

Neal Gay founded the rodeo in 1957 as a permanent attraction, as opposed to the traveling competitions that were popular at that time. Called “the original Western sport,” rodeo is the oldest sports franchise in the area. ESPN began broadcasting rodeo performances from the Mesquite Championship Rodeo in the mid-1980s, and it’s now one of the most televised rodeos in the world. The Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association has nominated The Mesquite Championship Rodeo for Rodeo of the Year several times.
