Slab’s is your spot for mouthwatering ribs, brisket, sausage, and loaded baked potatoes. This local BBQ joint is owned by Larry Davis, who has been a pillar in Mesquite for more than 20 years.
The secret at Slab’s is in the sauce. Larry has been using and perfecting his mom’s BBQ sauce recipe since his childhood – and trust us, you’ll want his sauce on everything! We suggest his in-house smoked ribs or the loaded baked potato. For a side, make sure to order his famous fried okra!
Tip: Slab’s has no indoor seating. We suggest grabbing your meal to-go and enjoying it as a picnic at one of Mesquite’s 70+ parks.
