1. Get Creative at the Mesquite Arts Center: Bring your children to a variety of classes and workshops during the“Just For Kids” spring break series. Kids can make their own silkscreens and T-shirt design, take dance classes, or even see a show. But it’s not just the kids that enjoy this place—there’s a wide variety of shows, exhibits, concerts, and events as well.

2. Go-Karts, Bumper Boats, Play Gyms, and More: Get behind the driver’s seat, strap on a seat belt, and race your kids at Celebration Station’s go-kart track. Kids Empire and Urban Air Adventure Park feature indoor playgrounds that are filled with fun activities including climbing structures, trampolines, rope courses, slides, and mazes.

3. Watch Car Racing at Devil's Bowl Speedway: For families who want a little more excitement, head to the Devil’s Bowl Speedway for some auto racing. Late model, sprint, and modified cars race around a half-mile outdoor dirt track on Saturday nights from mid-spring to mid-fall.

4. Go Fishing at City Lake Park: For such an urban area, Mesquite has plenty of outdoor spaces and parks to let kids run, swim, and play. If you are looking for a tranquil way to enjoy the great outdoors head to City Lake.

5. Play on KidsQuest at Debusk Park: Explore the renovated KidsQuest playground including bridges, swings, monkey bars, and slides for kids of all ages to run around on.

6. Discover Pirate Treasure at Xcape Adventures: Do you think you and your family have what it takes to navigate your way through a pirate ship and crack codes to find the captain’s chest full of hidden treasure? If so, book the Capital Skully game at Xcape Adventures.
