Enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of Christmas at this holiday season tradition in the historic heart of Mesquite!

THE FUN BEGINS AT 5 P.M.

• Grounds open
• Free cocoa and cookies will be served while supplies last
• Santa on-site to visit with the kids
• Various live entertainment
• The gift market opens with booths presented by Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market vendors

TREE-LIGHTING CEREMONY 6 P.M.

• Mayor Dan Aleman opens the tree-lighting ceremony
• “12 Days of Downtown Mesquite” sung by the audience, prompted with placards displayed on stage
• City Council and MISD student representatives gather on stage to hit the button that lights the Christmas tree for the first time in the season
• Ceremony concludes
• Live music continues until 8 p.m.
• Free Downtown Mesquite ornaments will be distributed while supplies last
