5 Reasons Mesquite is the Perfect Family Trip

Mesquite has five premier hotels topping most travelers’ lists. Hampton Inn & Suites is a short walk away from the Mesquite Arena and complete with a great pool and other top-notch amenities. The parks and outdoor adventures in Mesquite are endless. Find parks with open green space, a leash-free dog park, fishing lakes, disc golf courses and athletic fields. There is also plenty of trails for a family bike ride, the most prominent is the Mesquite Heritage Trail. The 4.25-mile path leads to city parks, sports fields and shopping. The trail starts at Towne Centre Drive and Franklin Drive and ends just west of the Greenbelt Parkway; three trailheads also access the route.

5. Attractions That Bring the Family Together

Choose amongst various Mesquite attractions for a day of family fun. Celebration Station lives up to its name as a one-stop fun shop with batting cages, mini-golf and go-karts. At Xcape Adventures, test your teamwork and problem-solving skills with fun escape rooms filled with challenging riddles.
