Mesquite, Texas—It's More Than a Meeting Destination

Take your next meeting to another level when you host it in Mesquite, Texas, the “Rodeo Capital of Texas.” It is just 15 minutes east downtown Dallas and has everything you need to put on a successful meeting, incentive trip, conference, or event that will keep your attendees engaged and ready for more. From large and sophisticated event spaces to some of the most exciting and memorable attractions on this side of the Rio Grande, here are three reasons why Mesquite is the perfect place to host your next event.

1. Meeting Spaces That Exceed Expectations

The team at Mesquite Convention & Visitors Bureau is ready to help you, which is why they go beyond to make hosting an event at Mesquite Convention Center & Exhibit Hall as convenient as possible. Combined, the convention center and exhibit hall offer more than 50,000 square feet of flexible space that can accommodate everything, from the opening keynote to the closing-night reception.

The convention center’s 18,000-sq.-ft. Grand Texan Ballroom is excellent for conferences, seminars, and trade shows. Transform the ballroom into three separate 2,000-sq.-ft. spaces for parties and product launches or two 6,000- sq. – ft. spaces for bigger events. Additionally, the convention center comes with breakout rooms, ranging from 400 to 800 square feet each for more intimate affairs. Connected to the convention center is the 35,000-sq.-ft. Exhibit Hall. Split this massive space into two 17,500-sq.-ft. rooms to host simultaneous tradeshows and meetings. It’s also perfect for events that require big displays or equipment. Multiple large overhead doors make it easy to bring in machinery, furnishings, and other supplies.

All of the Mesquite Convention Center and Exhibit Hall spaces can be outfitted with the latest audiovisual equipment. To make your job even easier, the catering team, chef, and banquet manager are on call to help you plan memorable breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The team will go to great lengths to learn what matters to your group, then customize and tailor pricing and services to your needs so your guests will have treasured memories of your event.
